Yesterday, I was lucky enough to tag along with Lynn of Lynn in Love Photo to second shoot a wedding for the sweetest Brazilian couple, Raquel & Cesar. Their huge families descended on this unassuming little venue tucked away in Lewisville and transformed it into something very classy and very gorgeous. I can't wait to get the rest of these photos ready to share with you. Here are 2 to tide you (and me) over.

Dallas Bridal Portraits and Wedding Photography Studio
We understand that Dallas brides have the option of indoor studio and outdoor locations when it comes to their bridal portraits.
One of the main considerations this time of year is simply the Dallas heat. The studio may give a more timeless, classical look. And yet, the outdoor look, we personally feel, is more vibrant and alive. We think you will love your floral bouquet being matched by the beauty of Nature to compliment your loveliness.
You may not know that we can put an outdoorsy background behind an in-studio bridal portrait, as in this example.
For outdoor Dallas Bridal Portraits, we know several beautiful parks around Dallas. Here are also some of our favorite locations, both outdoors and indoors for stunning, professional bridal portraits:
Call 214-703-0360 to ask about these and other locations for fine Dallas Bridal Portraits and see how you can get a discount on your Dallas Wedding Photography when you also purchase Bridal Portraits or Engagement portraits.

Allison's Maternity Portraits - Sneak Peek
One of my close friends is in town this week for her baby shower and for her little brother's high school graduation, so we got together during the golden hour after sunrise (and for a few hours beyond) this morning for a fun maternity shoot. Allison's just entering her third trimester and is looking too gosh darned cute. You might recognize this beautiful girl from my blog header; I took her bridal portraits almost 2 years ago. I can't believe my middle school and high school buddy is about to be a momma!

Kate & Greg Engagement Portraits - Sneak Peek
Yesterday, Kate and Greg met up with me over in Las Colinas. We hit up the famous Mustang Statues, as well as the Canal Riverwalk and a beautiful little park where they used to take walks earlier in their relationship. Here's a preview of their engagement photo shoot.

The Kidds - Sneak Peek
I can't wait to share some of the photos from today's shoot with you. I have to warn you that it contains another contender for World's Cutest Kid. Rylan is so ridiculously cute. He picked flowers for me. And my heart melted. Jared and Christelle are pretty good lookin' too, but it's hard to compete with their munchkin.

Momma's Day
Today is Mother's Day. My mom's working today (she works 12 hour shifts and generally gets up for work about the same time I go to bed) so I'll have to celebrate with her belatedly, but I figured I'd still post a brief shout out to my momma.
My mom has long been my confidante, my snuggle-buddy, and my best friend. While my husband has maybe taken over those roles most of the time these days, I know I can still count on her for any of the above. It seems like most ladies are afraid they'll end up like their mothers. I'd be A-OK with growing up to be like my mom. I could only hope to be such a compassionate, giving, loving woman. If I'm someday even half as good a mother as my own momma, I'll be doing pretty darn well.
I love you mom.
