Branching Out

I have approximately no experience with video (a fact that seems to surprise people given how often I get asked for camcorder recommendations) but I've been shooting some fun little videos for my day job lately to help customers go behind the scenes on our big product shoots. My Art Director Renee edited this one together from our most recent shoot and I *love* it. I consider this my video debut! :) Keep your eyes open for the split second cameo of a number of my coworkers shaking their respective groove thangs. I stayed safely behind the camera, so you won't see me, naturally.

Patriotic Bride, Stacy Opens Bombay Doors

This patriotic bride is fitting for our 4th of July Blog Post. Stacy is our featured newlywed and her svelte looks are matched only by her patriotic wedding theme.

Their wedding featured reeves and reeves of taffeta, and even a reeve of cherries on little tree centerpieces - evidently thematic of the George Washington legend.

Stacy had her hair colored by Bombay Brides and is not ashamed to appropriate tonight's fireworks for our country adorn her own wedding reception. Congrats to this esteemed Dallas Wedding Photographer.

My Work in Print

Though I see my photos in print all the time at my day job as Head of Photography for Earthbound Trading Company, I don't see my portrait and wedding work in print form (as it belongs!) nearly often enough. Seeing some of the images from Cullen and Sara's recent engagement session on display at their wedding last night reminded me just how warm and fuzzy it makes me feel to see my work become family heirlooms.
